10 Hour Vinyasa Sequencing Refresher with Aoife

Join us for a weekend of vinyasa practice and sequencing aimed at teachers.

8th & 9th of March 2025 | 12pm-6pm both days.

Who is this for?

This training is tailored for Yoga teachers who aim to enhance their abilities in leading motivating, and creatively structured vinyasa flow classes.

What can I expect?

This training immersion will be an interactive learning experience; through personal practice, exercises, practice teaching, talks and discussions we will explore the sequencing and transitions of vinyasa flow yoga, and learn how to plan and deliver a great vinyasa class for different student levels.

Content and Structure

· Engage in an energizing vinyasa flow each day and dissect the sequencing and purpose behind each movement.

· Discover methods to modify and innovate Surya Namaskars to suit your students' needs and class levels.

· Explore the importance of breath, rhythm, flow, and seamless transitions, and learn how to connect postures with intention in a fun and effective manner.

· Master the foundational template for structuring a successful vinyasa class.

· Develop skills in crafting secure and inspiring vinyasa sequences, incorporating preparatory poses, peak postures, and counter poses for a well-rounded class.

· Learn the art of instructional language, including word choice, verbal cues, demonstrations, and how to support students during movement.

· Delve into your ‘why’ and what it is that keeps you feeling inspired as a yoga teacher.

About Aoife O’Dalaigh

Irish born Aoife (EE-fa) moved to New York in the late 90’s, where she discovered yoga and soon became hooked. From New York to Los Angeles, Aoife experienced the burgeoning yoga scene. Some of the teachers Aoife regularly practiced with were Eric Schiffman, Bryan Kest, Ashley Turner, Govind Das, and Jo Tastula.

Aoife received her 200 hour training with Yoga Works in Santa Monica and went on to assist the first Yoga Works training in the UK in 2019. She completed her 300 hour training with her main vinyasa teacher Jason Crandell in 2021. One of her biggest influences has been restorative yoga and yoga Nidra. She has completed trainings with Jillian Pransky, as well as assisting Tamika Caston-Miller.

Aoife moved to Belfast in 2015 with her husband and her two fur babies, where she became a full-time yoga teacher. In Aoife’s restorative classes you can expect a warm and safe environment. Aoife is an avid cook, reader, and loves spending time with her family in Dublin.
