Introdution to Pilates with Natalie

Pilates is a mindful and centering practice which was designed to lengthen, strengthen and balance the body whilst also increasing focus, coordination and mobility. With an emphasis on breath and core control, it brings efficiency of movement back to the body.

Natalie has created this workshop to enable beginners to have a space to learn about the key principles Pilates, and how we incorporate those principles into the foundational pilates movements. The workshop will provide a space to practice these key movements with guidance and tactile feedback, ensuring that each individual understands how the movements should feel in our bodies. This session is also a fantastic opportunity for those who may not be new to Pilates but would like to strengthen the alignment and form of their foundational movements, who CB will help carry over to the more complex Pilates movements.

  • Introduction to Pilates and the 6 key principles

  • Opportunity for Q&A (questions encouraged throughout)

  • Introduction to the fundamentals movements

  • Practice of fundamental movements with tactile feedback offered

  • A Pilates flow incorporating our learning

  • Guided meditation and breath work
