Retreat Dates & Investment
Sunday the 16th - sunday the 23rd of november 2025
Investment ranges from £1.800 to £2.000, depending on the room you choose. All rooms are shared but if you require a private room get in touch with us.
Payment plans are available. A deposit of £350 reserves your place.
50% of your remaining balance is due by 1st of July and the remaining balance and final payment is due by 1st of September.

Location
Considered one of the most amazing spaces to practice yoga in Goa, Bamboo Yoga has soul-feeding views over Polem beach and out to sea. With nothing between you and the Arabian Sea, it is the ultimate spot to salute the sun, whilst the sea breeze keeps you comfortable even in tropical temperatures.
Goa has temperatures ranging from around 32 degrees during the day to 24 degrees at night in November. A perfect weather to practice yoga, relax in the sun and enjoy a well deserved holiday.
Bamboo Yoga is situated around 90 minutes’ drive from Goa’s Dabolim airport (GOI) and 150 minutes drive from Goa’s other international airport at Mopa (GOX).
Accommodation
You have the choice of two types of accommodation : huts and cabanas. All are made of natural materials and designed to blend with the natural surroundings.
All accommodations are close together, within a short walk from the beach, the restaurant and the yoga shala.
All huts and cabanas are shared but if you require private accommodation please get in touch with us to discuss your options!
Yoga Practices, Treatments & Activities
This yoga retreat is the perfect opportunity to deepen your personal yoga practice.
Daily morning and late afternoon yoga practices will be offered in the stunning onsite shala, led by a highly experienced yoga teacher.
Practices will be accessible to a range of experience – beginners and seasoned yogis are all welcome. Yoga mats and props are provided.
Trips to the nearby village as well as a holistic treatment are included in this retreat package.
Food
The food is made with love using locally sourced ingredients to accommodate all dietary needs.
Sunrise
Fresh power juices, tropical fruit salad, teas.
Brunch & Dinner
Delicious Goa inspired vegetarian delicacy buffets with fresh salads.
Unlimited water, afternoon teas and cookies.
Optional extras are available from the a la carte menu.

About the team
Susan McEwen, Retreat Host & Senior Yoga Teacher
Susan is one of Yoga Quarter’s owners and a pillar of the Yoga practices offered at the studio. She has many years of experience in leading retreats and making people feel comfortable whilst they relax and enjoy their time away.
Susan will be the lead host for this retreat and you will surely have an amazing time away with her. Her practices will complement nicely the sunshine and relaxation you will be soaking into!
SARA CASSELLS, YOGA TEACHER AND RETREAT HOST
Sara has been a regular face at Yoga Quarter for a while as she teaches weekly hatha practices at the studio and led a retreat in Morocco in 2024.
Sara’s classes are down to earth, precise and welcoming. She also recently certified as a Yoga Nidra facilitator!
We are very excited for Sara to join the retreat and look after you in South India, you’re in great hands!
FAQs

You can either fly from Belfast or Dublin, it’s up to you, your budget, and where you are based. Air India and British Airways are both reliable airlines connecting Ireland/the UK to India.
Check-in is from 2pm on the 16th but you can arrive a day early if that’s how your flights happen to be. Please let us know when you book them and if you need an extra night added to your booking - it comes at extra cost and needs booked with the retreat venue. -
Once we know what flights you are all planning on taking we will ask the retreat space to book transportation for you. This will be tailored to your flight arrival times and the cost will be included in your retreat package.

Accommodation, three plant-based meals a day, teas and coffees, a complementary massage and daily yoga practices are all included. Flights, travel insurance and visas are not included.

Practices will be accessible to a range of experience - beginners and seasoned yogis are all welcome.

Please bring comfortable clothes for the week, personal toiletries, swimwear and walking/hiking shoes. Bamboo Yoga is fully equipped with yoga mats and props. You are welcome to bring your own mat if you’d like. Personal towels and toiletries for the week will be provided. Your accommodation will also have quality pillows and duvets and extra blankets if needed.

Mobile phones are allowed but we encourage you to disconnect as much as possible. We ask that yoga practices and group activities are phone free.

You need a valid tourist visa to enter India and it’s your responsibility to apply and pay for it online prior to the retreat.
You might also want to consider checking with your GP if your travel vaccines are up to date and that you are physically fit to travel.
