PAUSE - YQ Virtual Retreat

YQ2U is delighted to bring you:

PAUSE

Awake || Emerge || Enquire || Rest

An online day retreat in 4 parts. Pause has been shaped to give you just enough but not feel like it's too much.

You will be guided through 4 practices starting in the early morning and finishing in the early evening, with space in between to walk, sleep, read or just keep pausing.

The practices will compliment each other and create an overall energetic flow that will feel complete.

 

Shape of the day:

Awake with Simone

8:30-9:45am

During the opening practice Simone will gently awaken your body, your senses and mind. She will combine nurturing yoga postures, breath work and meditation as the perfect opening to your day.


Emerge with Denis

11-12:30pm

Denis invites you to Emerge, the second of four parts together.

Journey with Denis as he guides you through a short but powerful mantra practice that encourages you to release your fears, anxieties and loneliness of this past year.

After chanting you will be led through a heart-opening, energising, vinyasa-flow practice that encourages you to shed layers around your heart; unfolding yourself and emerging victorious into the year ahead.


Enquire with Susan

3-4:15pm

Yin is a practice of stillness and long held poses. 

Working at a physical level, Susan will guide you through a practice designed to release tension from the body.  Working at an energetic level this practice will invite you to a space of self-enquiry where you have the opportunity To crawl into ourselves and stay a while.

While staying still we allow ourselves to breathe into our feeling tones without the burden of expecting to feel a particular way or create a particular response.


Rest with Aoife

6-7:15pm

Now we enter the final section of our day long retreat.

It’s time to Rest.

Build yourself a cocoon by gathering blankets, cushions and anything else from your home that will support your restorative and yoga nidra practice.

The conditions for calm are, warmth, comfort and darkness. These conditions will help us find our way into deep rest and relaxation as Aoife guides you through some restorative poses and a journey in yoga nidra (yoga of sleep) to seal off this all day retreat into yourself.


Nourish

To accompany your day you will receive a specially designed plant based menu from Maple&Co for you to create at home. Ingredients will be easy to access and most of the preparation will be simple and quick so you can enjoy it without fuss.
