FUNCTIONAL YIN FOUNDATIONS

Functional Yin Foundations with Grace tempany
Functional Yin Foundations is a 3-day, 30hr short course “foundation” in both Yin and Functional Yoga (Paul Grilley, Founder of Yin Yoga). Taught over 3 days.
this course will offer participants a grounding in Yin as a Daoist practice, an introduction to skeletal variation and functional anatomy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (meridian theory), fascia, and a repertoire of yin yoga poses for the lower body.
Students will be introduced to a yin approach to meditation, and to the basic tenets of holding the seat of the teacher. Each of the three days will contain a yin practice, and there will be teaching practice opportunity on day 3 (completed in pairs).
THE ART OF YIN
Functional Yin Foundations represents the first 30 hours of Grace Tempany’s 100hr Art of Yin Teacher Training programme. If students desire, they have the option of completing that journey with parts 2 and 3 in the Autumn. They will be held online (live on Zoom) on October 10-12 (Part 2) and Nov 8-9 and 15-16 (Part 3).
Access to practice and mentoring within The Integration Space online membership is included for 6 months as part of the 100hr journey. This facilitates ongoing learning and integration time over a longer period of time which has proven to be very successful with previous trainees. Upon successful completion of the 100hr Art of Yin teacher training you will be issued with a certificate with Yoga Alliance Professionals, where this Yin training is the only 100hr Yin training offered by a Senior Teacher & Trainer Pro.If you are interested in completing the full 100hr teacher training journey, you can speak to me in person about it at the in-person course, or you are more than welcome book a discovery call/send an email to Grace at gracetempany@gmail.com if you would like to speak beforehand.
