Friday 5th May | YQ East | 7.15pm - 9.30pm | £22 (Full) / £18 (Concession)
You’re invited to join Maggie for a Bealtaine workshop at Yoga Quarter East. We’ll celebrate this Celtic festival through gathering as a community and connecting to the energy of allowing ourselves to bloom and blossom in our lives.
Bealtaine on the Celtic calendar marks the start of summer, when we move into the light half of the year. When we look at nature the sun is giving the warmth needed for the buds to blossom and green lushness to return. We're invited to work with the solar yang energy and move outwards and allow for new growth and expansion.
This workshop will offer practices connecting to the energy of Bealtaine;
Somatic, Restorative & Nidra practices
Reflection & Journaling
Celtic Wisdom & ritual
Gathering in community
Creating a Bealtaine altar
Join Maggie for this practice where you will be offered an opportunity to pause and reflect on yourself and your seeds of intention from Spring and give them some nurturance to bloom.
The workshop is a trauma-informed and mental health aware practice that is inclusive of all bodies and experiences. No prior movement or meditation experience is required.
Come along in your comfy clothes, cosy socks and bring anything you’d like to add to the Bealtaine altar…be as creative as you like with this!
